Combine the turkey, egg, bread crumbs, garlic, parsley, salt, pepper, and onion powder in a large bowl.
Mix well then divide into four equal portions and shape into 1/2 inch thick patties with dampened hands.
Add the oil to a large pan over medium heat then add the patties and cook on each side for about 4 minutes or until cooked through (internal temperature of 160F).
Serve on buns with your choice of toppings.

Notes
Dampen your hands with cold water before shaping the patties to stop them from sticking to your hands.
You can chill the burgers in the fridge until you are ready to cook them.
Make sure your skillet is nice and hot before frying so you get that delicious sear on the burger.
If you're not sure that your burgers are cooked all the way through you can use a meat thermometer to check that the meat reaches 165F.
If you want to cook these burgers on the outside grill make sure to preheat the grill and brush the patties with olive oil so they don't stick. I also recommend chilling the burger so they firm up until you are ready to cook them.
Toppings - here are some delicious toppings you might want to try; pickles, tomato, lettuce, red onion, avocado, Jalapeno, mustard, ketchup, BBQ sauce, cheese, garlic mayo, relish.
If you want to add melted cheese add a slice on the burger 5 minutes before the end of cooking so the cheese melts.
For a lower-carb option, you can serve these with lettuce buns instead of bread.
These burgers are best served immediately when they are extra juicy.
Storage - cooked burgers will keep for 3-4 days in the fridge or can be frozen. Thaw before reheating.
